1. Chief EngineerExtensive experience of the Villas Industry is required; including staff management, staff training, liaison with other departments & local governments and cost handling.
Qualifications
∙ Must be a team leader and a motivator for staff
∙ Must be able to coordinate all aspects of the Engineering Department and finance department for preparation of business plans
∙ Experience with employee handling
∙ Budgeting and cost control experience
∙ Strong management and leadership skills
∙ Must be able to work varied work schedules
∙ Good knowledge of English language Primary Responsibilities
∙ All day-to-day operations of smooth and efficient operation of the engineering department
∙ Hiring, training, scheduling and supervising staff
∙ Constantly strive to minimise costs within the department without affecting the operation or standards offered to our guests
● Liaising with the Executive Housekeeper/Room Division Manager on any deviations from the standard set-ups
∙ Ability to conduct departmental meetings, Controlling of all materials (receiving, recording, storage, Etc.)
● To be fully conversant with the departmental and hotel emergency procedures, repair orders and work orders and contract documents.
∙ Ensuring that departmental reports and correspondence are completed punctually and accurately
∙ Controlling the proper assignments of work to engineering department employees
∙ Implementing disciplinary proceeding against employees when it is deemed necessary to do so
∙ Ensuring to liaise with local govt. bodies/various departments i.e. Electricity, Telecommunication, Fire Service, Municipality, Public Health, Pollution Control Board etc. for various statutory compliances and smooth functioning of the hotel∙ Attending weekly meetings with GM and Operational Meeting to review business activity, plans, etc.

Requirements:
● Must be skilled at fruit carving
● Two year's experience
● Three year's Diploma in Food and Production
● Ability in spoken and written English
